India Photography Tour

This is our sixth adventure in India, and we believe it rivals the best African safaris. Travel through lush jungles in specialised game vehicles, tracking elusive Bengal tigers and their cubs. With just two photographers per vehicle, you’ll have exceptional opportunities to capture not only tigers, but a rich variety of wildlife including deer, monkeys, gaur and a diverse range of birdlife, all while experiencing the culture and energy of India.

DAY 1 - ARRIVE RAIPUR

November 5

We meet today at 5pm for a workshop and a chance to ask questions. We include our first group dinner.

Comfortable 4 Star hotel accommodation is included. (D)

DAY 2 - RAIPUR TO KANHA

January 6

After breakfast, we will drive to Kanha (approximately a 4-hour drive) and transfer to our lovely lodge for the next few nights. There will be a couple of stops along the way, providing opportunities for great travel photography. This afternoon, we will visit a local village to explore unique cultural experiences. While this tour focuses on the best aspects of nature in India, it will also highlight amazing cultural photography opportunities. We will include another workshop during the visit.

DAY 3 - KANHA

November 7

Enjoy a full day of game drives in one of the world’s most unique national parks, Kanha National Park. This marks the first of many exceptional wildlife days ahead. Your professional photo guide will collaborate with local expert guides to maximize your opportunities for capturing incredible wildlife images. While tigers will be the main focus, you will be pleasantly surprised by the diversity of wildlife you encounter! Overnight at the lodge. (B,L,D)
