While it’s rare to see lions up a tree, I have been lucky to experience this remarkable phenomena several times. Here the lioness savors the gentle breeze and survey’s her surroundings for potential prey from her advantageous high point. Interestingly, this lioness was the sole inhabitant of the tree that day. Watching her elegance made me reconsider the idea of enjoying a picnic under any majestic African tree!
