Kick off your Alaskan adventure in the vibrant village of Wrangell. (Daily flights service this town.) Take a stroll through this charming community nestled by the sea as you prepare to embark on an unforgettable journey. Meet at 3 PM today, join us for a welcoming reception followed by an enriching workshop by Darran and Julieaane. This will be followed by a delightful group dinner.

DAY 2 - Alaskan Whales & Wilderness

July 10

Today, set your sights on the mesmerising marine life of Alaska. Armed with your cameras, we will explore the intricate network of forested islands, seeking out whales, seals, and otters in their natural habitats. Delight in the serenity of the calm waterways as you search for these magnificent creatures. We may have the opportunity to photograph whales bubble-net feeding, a rare natural experience! You might even spot orcas, and the otters are certainly too cute to resist! It’s a magical day as you capture the essence of Alaska’s marine wonders. Late afternoon processing workshop by Julieanne.

DAY 3 - Alaskan Glaciers & Wilderness

July 11

A new day offers a completely different experience as we explore a world of stunning contrasts. We will set our sights on the beautiful blue ice of LeConte Glacier. Join us for a serene jet boat journey on calm waters, where you may spot seals, moose, and possibly even a bear. Capture the essence of creativity as you explore the landscapes and ice formations, guided by your professional photo guide. The blue ice and unique patterns will provide world-class photographic opportunities! Your accommodation awaits at the end of the day, offering a perfect conclusion to a day filled with photographic delights. Late afternoon workshop targeting concepts and processing by Darran.
