  • DAY 1 - ARRIVE TANZANIA

    April 17

We arrival as a group at Kilimanjaro Airport where we will be collected by your driver/guide and transfer to West Kilimanjaro where we check in at Kambi ya Tembo and enjoy stunning views plus dinner and our first night. Welcome to Tanzania!

    O/n Kambi ya Tembo (D)

With views of the Kilimajaro and the endless plains of the African savannah, Kambi ya Tembo is a spectacular camp situated on the north face of the Kilimanjaro with fantastic views of Amboseli and where one can enjoy the wildlife in the front line. The camp is located in Sinya, a 600 square kilometres concession which offers incomparable scenery with magnificent views of the Kilimanjaro, Mount Meru and the Ol Doinyo Longido and Ol Doinyo Orok peaks. It is one of the only places in Africa where one can observe large bull elephants more than 50 years old with enormous tusks.

    DAY 2 - ARUSHA, TANZANIA

    April 18

Leisurely breakfast and if lucky, catch a glimpse of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Board the safari vehicle and head to the Sinya plains for your first game driving activities in the West Kilimanjaro area. Sinya is part of the cross-border migratory route for elephants moving between Amboseli National Park (Kenya) and West Kilimanjaro (Tanzania). Giraffes, zebras, and antelopes also use this corridor, following seasonal grazing and water availability. Because it connects ecosystems across the Kenya–Tanzania border, Sinya helps maintain genetic diversity and population stability for large mammals. Enjoy a picnic lunch and by mid afternoon you start the transfer to Arusha where you retire at Tumbili Lodge. This lodge is fantastic for birds and creatures you might not expect.

    O/n Tumbili Lodge (B, L, D)

(B,L,D) - Confirms if - Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner - are included that day. Itinerary and price is subject to change.
