DAY 1 - Launceston

September 13

We include accommodation tonight at the Best Western Plus in Launceston. This is to optimise our early start the next morning. Rooms will be available from 2 PM. No services tonight and we look forward to meeting you at reception at 6.30 AM the next morning. Enjoy exploring Launcestons old buildings.

DAY 2 - Depart Launceston - Arrive at The Panorama Hotel - Tasmania

September 14

Meet at 6.30 AM at reception for our early departure. We depart Launceston at 7 AM today sharp, in our exclusive mini bus, for our 3 hour drive to the wild’s of the west coast of Tasmania. We will take longer and enjoy a stop or two to suit the ever changing scenery of Tasmania. A great chance for your photo guides to help you. Welcome to your photo adventure base for the week! After settling in, enjoy an afternoon workshop followed by a shoot in the late light.

DAY 3 - Bay of Fires

September 15

Rise early to capture the breathtaking sunrise at a nearby beach in the Bay of Fires. You’ll be challenged by light, patterns, and the natural environment. Afterward, we will return for a late breakfast. A workshop focused on processing and workflow will help expand your visualisation skills. In the afternoon, we will venture to explore the challenge of using slow shutter speeds at the Bay Of Fires beaches.
