DAY 1 - Kigali - Rwanda

September 3

Arrival at Rwanda International Airport where you will be collected and transfer to the Heaven Boutique Hotel for overnight accommodation. No meals are included today.

DAY 2 - Drive to Chimp area - Nyungwe

September 4

We depart early (after breakfast) for a 7 hour drive to the Nyungwe region, famous for chimps. These primates are partially habituated to people, but live a very natural life in the wild rainforest of the region. We have lunch on the way. We drive though amazing hills of farms, past small villages and eventually to wild rainforests. We will stop opportunistically for great story images. Our lodge is uniquely situated in rainforest and near tea plantations, this offers great photographic shoots also. We overnight at Nyungwe top view Hotel - https://nyungwehotel.com.

DAY 3 - Chimp Trek - Nyungwe to Volcanoes

September 5

Trackers have a base idea where to find the chimps. Of course, nature offers no guarantees, but along with our local expert guides, our chances are high to see and experience these amazing primates. Darran will help with the low light and testing shoot conditions. The walks may offer rough tracks at times. We will walk to your fitness and health.
