Since 1989, Darran & Julia Leal have been providing unique photo adventures that seamlessly blend the joy of a holiday with the art of photography. In fact, their journey in this field began in 1989 when they met during Darran's inaugural photo tour to Norfolk Island.

Darran's lifelong dream has been to explore the world, and in a serendipitous turn of events, he not only found his life partner in Julia but continues to live the dream by sharing incredible adventures with like-minded individuals. With extensive experience, having guided since 1981 and organised over 400 events worldwide, they remain dedicated to offering one-of-a-kind photo adventures to diverse destinations. Their mission is clear: to empower and inspire photography enthusiasts of all levels through dynamic workshops and captivating expeditions.

Julia's journey in the travel industry commenced in 1980, starting with her management of a resort in Noosa, Queensland, where she gained valuable insights into the hospitality sector. Over the years, her career evolved, leading her to work in various capacities in both wholesale and retail travel in New Zealand and Australia.
