For over 20 years, we have presented the most incredible Kimberley photo experiences. We are offering two linked adventures in the famous Kimberly. Both are different, targeting iconic locations. This is an ultimate photo tour in the stunning Kimberley region of Australia, targeting El Questro for astro shoots and amazing aerial shoots of coastal scenery, through to exploring the Gibb River Road, Mitchell Falls and the many other iconic locations. This tour starts and finishes in Kununurra.

DAY 1 - KUNUNURRA TO EL QUESTRO May 11

We suggest that you have arrived at least 24 hours before today. Or, you can link up from the Kimberley Workshop. We drive west to El Questro Station, departing at about 7am from Kununurra. But before arriving, we go to Parry Lagoon for a stop to explore a Top End wetlands area. Birds and other creatures are our goal. We drive onto set up base for the next 2 nights in famous El Questro Station, at the Emma Gorge section. This is a top base to explore the rugged north. Massive red cliffs, oasis with cool streams and ancient rivers are the normal here. We include boab shoots during the day, to astro photo shoots at night. The nature and landscapes of the region are unique and special. We include a workshop to help you get the most out of your Kimberley adventure. DAY 2 - EL QUESTRO May 12

We offer a gorge walk today. Beautiful clear water, ancient plants and creative shoots are key goals photographically. We also open up the option (not included) for a helicopter adventure. Flying over rugged country and seeing everything from an eagles perspective is so exciting! Darran has already offered you simple but very effect techniques. Your professional pilots will also help to maximise your experience and results. You will be amazed at the patterns and shapes offered by nature. And, all with doors off for clear shoots and you're strapped in for the most unique photo shoots. We suggest the ONE HOUR FLIGHT: This targeting the stunning cliffs north of El Questro and the expansive coastal tidal flood plains towards Wyndham. This changes year to year and will offer you world class aerial photo opportunities. Darran will contact the group a few months before departure to work out this flight. DAY 3 - EL QUESTRO TO DRYSDALE STATION May 13

We hit the famous Gibb River Road. Although this can be rough at times, it is a truly iconic road that opens up the wilderness of the region. For the next few days, we offer quality time exploring this amazing region, stopping opportunistically, plus offering helpful workshops in the field. Stunning red cliffs give way to birds, reptiles and sometimes unexpected things, even for your experienced guide. This region offers diversity of nature and a true far north Aussie experience. DAY 4 - DRYSDALE STATION TO MITCHELL FALLS May 14

We continue on, again stopping opportunistically and climb up to Mitchell Plateau. (About 4 hours of driving.) Palms, cockatoos, indigenous history will all offer new images. We arrive in time to explore near our wilderness accommodation. This is setup beautifully and offers comfort in a wild place.
